Nominating Sageland Homes for Integrity Counts 2003 Award
It is with great pleasure that I nominate Sageland Homes by GRS for the Integrity Counts 2003 Award.
A business's integrity is a reflection of the people who own and/operate the business. Gary and Judy operate their business with a human touch.
Although I had known Gary and Judy before meeting and interviewing some of their customers, it is what their clients have said about them that qualifies Sageland Homes for this recognition. In residential construction, it takes special builders to maintain solid relationships with their clients. In this industry, by the time a house is finished, it is not unusual for tension to have developed between builders and the homeowner. But Gary and Judy's approach and respect for customers is based on the perspective that, "a satisfied customer is the best marketing strategy." They build relationships before building houses. Their relationship with clients is a lasting legacy, way beyond the 3-6 months of house construction.
For any upcoming business or old-timers, Sageland Homes can serve as a reference point of business integrity and client care. Gary and Judy stay connected with clients and hosts dinner events to appreciate them, again affirming that building homes is a short-term process but building lasting relationships is what they care about.
I believe that, "What we do for ourselves can get us by. What we do for others is what gets us ahead; whether in our profession, spiritual pursuits or relationships." Gary and Judy's commitment in serving this community sets them apart. They help feed the hungry and cloth those in need through their contribution, especially for St. Vincent De Paul's programs. The future of humanity entirely rest on values and family ties. Even with the details that are necessary for success in construction business, Gary and Judy have shown that it is possible to move forward professionally without leaving their family behind. The integrity clients find in dealing with Sageland Homes is a byproduct of Gary and Judy's homegrown qualities for which their children can affirm. They set time for their family and quite frankly, for friends too. Again, I nominate Sageland Homes for the 2003 Integrity Counts Award.
